HBC Offers Cable TV Broadband Internet Southeastern Minnesota

Hiawatha Broadband Communications, Inc.

Since 1997, HBC, Inc. (also known as Hiawatha Broadband Communications, Inc.) has been on the leading edge of the fiber-optic revolution. HBC partnered with a local non-profit agency that allowed schools in the southeastern suburbs of Minneapolis to connect to the Internet at then-unprecedented speeds. The fact that more than 40 percent of HBC stock is owned by other local non-profit groups shows that the company lives up to its motto of "people before profit".
