Located directly across the street from the center of beautiful Forsyth Park, the Magnolia Place Inn is a circa 1878 mansion with 15 grandly restored rooms and 2 suites. Originally the birthplace of pulitzer Prize winning poet Conrad Aiken, the inn is filled with period antiques, most rooms have fireplaces, queen or kingsized beds and several offer Jacuzzis. The entry way is beautiful, and photographers are frequently parked at the inn's entrance to grab a photo or two for their collection before leaving Savannah. Rooms are named after major figures in Savannah's history and run in the $200-$250 range per evening.
