Their prices are straightforward with no post-promotional hikes, but you can usually score a free router rental or a high-value Visa reward card if you sign up online rather than over the phone.
EarthLink Internet Contracts and Data Caps
EarthLink's Fiber and DSL plans require a 12-month contract, with early termination fees (ETFs) of up to $200 if you cancel before the end of your term. The provider's wireless plans, however, don't require a contract, so you can pay on a month-to-month basis without being subjected to ETFs.
While you may find yourself locked into a contract with fiber or DSL from EarthLink, one bonus is that you don't have to worry about data caps. Every fiber and DSL plan comes with unlimited data. However, fixed wireless and 5G Home plans may have data caps, depending on the plan you choose. We realise that's usually expected with wireless providers. You can choose unlimited data plans, but they cost more per month. If you choose a plan with a data cap, your speeds will slow once you reach your monthly limit.
